Send us your URL. We’ll tell you what’s actually wrong.
Not an automated score out of 100. A short written audit from a developer who’s looked at your site, naming the specific problems, in the order worth fixing them. No obligation and no sales sequence afterwards.
What the audit covers
Performance
Core Web Vitals, page weight, and which specific scripts, images or plugins are costing you the seconds — named, not generalised.
Indexing
Whether your pages are actually in Google’s index, and if not, which of the several very different causes you have.
On-page structure
Titles, descriptions, heading structure, and near-duplicate pages competing with each other.
Technical health
Broken links, redirect chains, orphaned pages, leftover shortcodes, mixed content.
Plugin & theme risk
Abandoned plugins, known conflicts, and anything that will break at the next WordPress or PHP update.
A prioritised fix list
Ordered by impact against effort, so you know what to do first — and what isn’t worth doing.
How it works
Send us the URL
Through the contact form, with one line about what’s bothering you. Read-only Search Console access makes the audit much sharper, but it’s optional.
we look at it ourselves
Crawl plus manual review. No tool report pasted into a template — a generated PDF would tell you nothing you can’t get free in two minutes.
You get the write-up
Within three business days. Written so your own developer can act on it without us.
Then nothing, unless you want something
No drip campaign, no follow-up calls. If you want us to do the fixing, you’ll ask.
The honest version
A free audit is marketing, and pretending otherwise would be insulting. Here’s the deal as it actually stands:
- You get something useful whether or not you ever hire us. The fix list is specific enough to hand to another developer.
- we get to show our work rather than claim it, which is a better pitch than anything on our services pages.
- Sometimes we find nothing serious. We’ll say so. A free audit that always discovers an urgent problem isn’t an audit.
- It’s a first pass, not a full engagement. Deep work — full URL mapping, a large indexing investigation, a site-wide cannibalisation review — is a paid piece of work. We’ll tell you if that’s what you need.
Common questions
Is it really free?
Yes, for a first-pass audit of one site. There’s no card, no trial, and no obligation.
Do you need admin access?
No. We can audit a site from the outside. Read-only Search Console access makes the indexing half far more accurate, but it’s your call.
Will you just tell us to hire you?
Only if that’s the honest answer. Plenty of audits end with “fix these three things yourself, they’ll take an afternoon.”
What if our site isn’t WordPress?
Fine — we audit Shopify, Magento and custom builds too. The technical checks are much the same; only the fixes differ by platform.
